The Reykjavik Open will start officially tonight with the opening party first and then the Harpa Blitz!
The annual blitz tournament is scheduled to be held tonight at 19:00 so this year we will again play BEFORE the main tournament, not during it! We will play in the main playing hall in Harpa!
Entry fee is 15 EUR (ISK 2.250). Both possible to pay in cash or by card on site

Registration will be onsite on Tuesday March 24th between 17:00 and 18:30
The tournament will be played with a 3+2 time-control and will be FIDE-rated!
There will be 11 rounds and the tournament is open for players not playing the main tournament. If we run behind schedule the tournament might be cut to 10 or 9 rounds but minimum 9 rounds!
Minors (under 18) will have to be accompanied by an adult.
