REGISTRATION FOR 2027!

The registration is only valid when the online registration form is filled out and the entry fee is received. Early registration secures a starting place.

Please notice that the maximum number of players are around 400 players.

In case of withdrawal from the tournament up to 10 days before the start of the event, the organizer will refund 75% of paid entry fee.

Entry fee is according to the ratings of the payment day.

Titled players

GM/WGM play for free. These players need to confirm their participation on March 16th onsite or by e-mail.

Senior players (65+)

Note that full prices apply unless you are born in 1962 or earlier and pay 75%

Junior players

Note that full prices apply unless you are born in 2011 or later and pay 50%; or are born between 2007 and 2010 and pay 75%

If you pay online you don’t have to show up for registration when you come to Iceland – except GM/WGM needs to confirm their participation onsite or by e-mail. You will automatically be paired for the 1st round unless you inform us otherwise by e-mail or by other means.

If you are paying for somebody else, please state clearly in the comment section of the payment form who the player in question is! This applies for instance for parents paying for junior players.
